Photography + Content

Problem-solving + innovation + content production under constraints

With limited access to studio space and photography equipment in a small glassblowing studio, I took a resourceful approach to photographing handcrafted art glass and crystal—bringing pieces outdoors and working with natural light during golden hour. Often travelling with packed glass in my car, incase I unexpectedly found the perfect conditions to capture each piece in the best light.

Using only my iPhone and native editing tools, I developed an efficient workflow to shoot, edit, and publish content quickly. The results were striking—highlighting the clarity, colour, and detail of the glass in a way that resonated with Glass Roots' audience. The photography became a defining part of our visual identity, frequently receiving positive feedback across our website and social platforms, with many surprised to learn it was all self-produced.
